AFC1200 Axis Identification

Use the pictures below to identify which AFC 1200 Axis Unit you are using. To learn how to identify either new or old Axis Unit Firmware Click Here.

The New Axis Unit ("A" version) (above) is easily Identified by the absence of heat sink fins on the right side of the Axis when you face it from the front.

The Old Axis Unit (above) HAS heat sink fins on the right side of the Axis when you face it from the front. The second method to identify the Axis Unit is from the Model number tag on the back of every Axis unit. (This requires un-mounting the Unit)

The New Axis Unit ("A" version) (above) has a Model Number followed by an "A". (ex. "AXIS 203A")

The Old Axis Unit (above) does not have any letter designation following the model number (ex."AXIS 205")
