How do I fix an Axis Unit that the display has gone blank during power up?

The Axis Unit display is blank, even though the power source and connections have been verified to be correct. This error may occur when the Axis Unit is repeatedly powered up and then powered down.  A safety circuit is initialized in the unit to protect the power circuit from damage.  Most newer systems have master start time delay relays installed in the power-up circuit to remedy this fault.  If you have an older system which does not have this, try the solution below.

• Turn off the power for five (5) minutes before making another attempt to power up.
• Ensure that the Axis Unit is not located near any strong electrical or magnetic fields.
• If problem persists, replace the Axis Unit input power cable with a known good cable.
• If problem still persists, replace the affected Axis Unit.  Refer to Section 8.3 of the manual for more detailed information.
