How do I program the AFC 1100 system?

The 1100 system can be programmed with two different methods.
  • One is with the use of the AFC Software package running in a computer connected to the system via RS485 connection.  This package allows communication to all spindles connected to the system. It's specific features include Preset Parameter Upload/Download, Torque/Angle Fastening Curve display/saving, Fastening data monitoring/statistics/storage, Printer/Communication Port configuration & Security function set-up. (download request form)
  • The second programming method available is with the Axis Unit programming buttons on the front of each unit.  This allows programming/monitoring of all preset/fastening parameters of individual spindles.

Please refer to Chapter 7 for information on using the Axis Unit for programming.
